Oct. 5: Inauguration of the Deepak and Neera Raj Center on Indian Economic Policies

Hosted by Merit E. Janow, dean of SIPA and Jagdish Bhagwati, University Professor at Columbia, the inauguration will feature a keynote address by the Hon'able Arun Jaitley, India's minister for finance, corporate affairs, and information and broadcasting. The event will be an opportunity to recognize Deepak and Neera Raj and other key individuals who have generously supported the Center and to raise awareness of India's current economic development opportunities and challenges. Also attending will be Arun Kumar Singh, ambassador of India to the United States, and Pravin Krishna, Raj Center deputy director. Seating is limited and preregistration is required.
