by Arvind Panagariya

Deshmukh Memorial Lecture hosted by the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER), Prof. Arvind Panagariya offers a comprehensive road map of reforms for the new government to be elected on May 16, 2014 via what he calls arguably "the third most important" election in the post-independence history of India. The Lecture honors the memory of one of the most eminent figures from the immediate post-independence history of India who also happened to be a founding father of NCAER. Panagariya delivered the lecture to a full house on 11 February 2014.
